Guilty shocks

<font color=blue>Happy holidays...

Ok, I lifted my jeep after disconnecting my BD-AT shocks. They are clearly one of the culprits hindering my front-end travel. Looks like I can get another 3 inches of down-travel if I ran w/o shocks...

Lets go over the ideas again: new shocks (can't sell that one to my wife)... relocate the brackets (can't weld)...

What else is there?

Thanks! and Happy New Year! If the Mirage blows up, say bye to YJ94! Anyone else dumb enough to go to Vegas this year?

Re: Guilty shocks

Jon- I won't be in Vegas until the 4th, assuming everything checks out medically.

I saw a site once that showed how to make your own shock extensions. How about taking a piece of 1x3 or 2x3 boxed steel and drilling a hole in each end? It would be kinda like the shock end conversion's that you can buy but maintain the same style mount you have. No welding involved, just cutting.
