Is a Levi CJ7 rare?

I found a CJ7 Levi edition without the seats (unfortunately). But, I think that I might be able to get a set of Levi seats from an aquaintance (but they're faded unfortunately1!) Anyway, this CJ has a lot of body rust but a good frame. I'm hoping to do a lift, swap a Wrangler body and drop in a 304 and auto tranny then Dana 44s front and rear. Am I killing a rare specimen? Will I kick myself one day when I learn that this is a rare puppy or is it relatively commonplace?

Re: Is a Levi CJ7 rare?

they are relatively rare, only about 150-200 a year out of a production of around 25,000
