wiring harness

Ok,x-mass presents are in$$$ and my wiring harness is shot!I know painless and centech can ship a full harness but I just need the underhood engine part.Can I get one thru the dealer,aftermarket,or do I have to make it myself!Thanks.

The "Universal" Painless wiring kit basically just has loose matching wires on the exterior porton of the fuse block pluged into it.
A good clean up of the interior contacts and a bunch of male #56 GM connectors and a good wiring diagram is all you will need.
Just keep the old engine compartment harness around to refer to.
