Well after today I'm on vacation til 1/3/00. No computer at home, so no access to the net. I'll miss reading the posts a lot.
The only good thing is that 4 days of this period will be out wheeling the CJ at Truckhaven. See everyone when I get back.
Have a good vacayshn' Gary. We'll try not t' git too rabid whilst yer offlinr. Oh, and one more thing.....keep the rubber side town.
Eep! Then you had better take a crack team of moonguy repair specialists with you. Brad knows what they can do....he saw them roll their Jeep at Farmington.
Yeah, when I rolled my last Jeep ( 70CJ5 ) it was a TOTAL. 55mph on a gravel road, 65 miles north of Tonopah,Nev. OUCH, two
broken ribs, nine stiches, bruised heart, and overnight in the hospital. Not something I'd like to repeat.
Did Roy Johnson scrape you up and bind your wounds? He lives not far from that spot. It is 75 miles from Tonopagh to Austin, and they live about half way. There is an old stage coach way station right on the ranch.
No Dave. I'm not sure what road i was on, since another member of the group had all the area maps. That 35 miles of dirt roads
before we hit pavement wasn't a whole lot of fun. We only saw one ranch, about 5-6 miles off in the distance.
