35 inch-tires

I already have a YJ with a 4-inch lift. How much higher would I need to go in order to fit 35 inch-tires?

Re: 35 inch-tires

2" is safe. That way you won't have to cut the fenders.

Re: 35 inch-tires

Let me know when you go to 35's. I want to know if they rub with 2" body lift and 4" suspension.

Re: 35 inch-tires

Hey Bobbo,

A friend of mine ran a YJ with a 3.5" Superlift lift and a 1" Body lift and it DOES NOT rub at all with 35x14.5x15 Boggers. You can see his jeep at http://www.4playoffroad.com Its the Blue one under members rigs (Ben Cadley) he now has a spring over but there are some pics of the rig with the superlift.

Re: 35 inch-tires

I'm runing 4" suspension, 1" longer shackles(1/2" lift), and with the built in 2" lift in the fiberglass tub I have all the clearance in the world. I'v been considering changing to 36" tires or mabey 35's in a 15" wide since I have the room. Now this is on a narrow track axle so a wide track would be just about right for this lift.
