One piece front end

My buddy just got a one piece front and we were wondering what we can do with the grill do we just cut the outlines or just drill a bunch of holes. We are looking for ideas anyone have one? any pics?[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img]

More information needed here. Mine is an AJ's, already looks like a jeep grille. Just belt or disk sand
from the back side until the web between the grille uprights is gone. AJ's did mine for a nominal fee. I
don't know what you have.

Well we have been trying to figure out who made it but he bought it off someone who bought it from someone else. it looks just like the jeep grill white gel coat. thanks I'll let him know what you said about sanding it down with a sander.[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img][img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif[/img] maybe ill sent the moon guys over to help my buddy.

I have been told that if you use a eletric sander that the glass dust will gum up your
sander or drill or what ever. Use a air tool.

If it has the jeep style grill it more than likely came from AJ's.
They are the only one that is legally allowed to produce it!
most of the companys that sell the one piece purchase it from them and sell it as their own

Why wouldn't a router work? Seems to me you could get a trimming bit, drill a hole in the center of the cut-out, and just follow it around. I saw a guy do it that way for the headlights on a baja-bug (didn't see the finished job though[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif[/img]).
