Anyone live in or around RATON NM.

We are trying to sale our house here in texas, and are looking for a place in New Mexico.Needs to have a good school and fair job market (so I can afford to work on the jeep) Any ideas?

If your wanting to move to NM, think about the 4 corners area, Farmington/Aztec. I moved here a few years ago, decent climate, summers not too bad, winters pretty cold but dry, fastest growing area in NM, and the world's best wheeling, Chokecherry, Rock Garden, San Juans, Moab.

taos and santa fe are mountain towns, both are high dollar real estate.do't know about raton, or trinidad area.the job market is albuqurque, colorado springs,denver most of the remote mountain towns are tourist related jobs.
