Scored another one

So my daughter picked up this little jewel. It's got a few small rust spots but really solid.

1985 cj8 25k miles is what it says. Kinda thought no way until I drove it down the road. Absolutely no play in the box. Somebody changed the front spring bushings and didn't get the u bolts tight enough but took care of that and drives like a dream.

I think someone took it down for a repaint like in the times that green and gold were in, like in or around 99-2000 and maybe passed around as it got put back together. Guy gave us ac box pump and condesor that needs to go back in. Thought the wheels were repops but when I took them off yesterday to flip white letters out, the rims are stamped 1984. That surprised me.

How do you keep coming up with those? You must have every one there is in SW Missouri, unless there were an awful lot of them sold there. I haven't seen, or even heard of one, around here for thirty years. Sweet find! Congratulations!

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

This one was in Branson at a house literally in the back yard of silver dollar city. The guy had posted it up on fb market a couple times for $19,500 and other guess no nights. He posted again for 17.5 and my daughter had been watching it and said if he would take 15 I would go get it. I told her message him and say you are serious and know what it's worth so what would he be willing to let it go for. He said 15 cash and it's yours. She said cool I'm on my way. The guy builds crawlers and he said it was to clean of a jeep to do that too..
