Memories

An invitation to list your fondest memories of when this was once a great board.

I remember the CJDave posts, especially those politically related about Kalifornia and the Klintons, and his use of his moonguy crew.

I also fondly remember LEVE being moderator and more recently the “Where’s LEVE” posts.

I sometimes wonder what ever happened to some people like knifeboy2, GeeAea and others.

One thing I don’t miss is the days of downtime with the software upgrades but it seems funny now.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world.
Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Humm... it's odd that you mentioned, "Where's LEVE." I was just thinking about posting another one, just to keep people on their toes.

Happy New Year to all. I hope you all have a wonderful 2018, prosper and enjoy life and family.

I still kick myself for not making the trip to Iowa to meet CJDave. I wonder how he's doing.

I talked to CJDave just last month. He's doing very, very well. He's still writing tractor articles and enjoying his family. It was wonderful to catch up with him and hear about his adventures (of which there were plenty). If you ever get to near where he lives, I'm sure he would be glad to see you.

Nice to see some of us still bounce in once in a while.

Hmmm.... It's odd that you didn't mention being sponsored to fly to Indiana, picked up at the airport to attend the Bash, delivered back to the airport, with only a few minor scratches. Guess that made no impression for you.

My gosh... this place is so quiet I can hear the crickets chirping. Dropped in to try to find Jim_Lou...

I still have my 86 CJ7, now gonging on 21 years (to the best of my recollection). Bought new tires and added Rancho 9000s with the older model air control last fall, but not making as many mods these days.

Best to all the old jeepers who used to hang out here...

Lot's of projects... too little time and $$.

Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that! Spooky!

I still check in every few days, but yes, mostly crickets for the last few months.
