Push pin in map for Garmin

The granddaughter wanted to eat at Culvers Friday night. I had the Garmin navigation map in the dash on. We noticed a yellow push pin on the map showing the location of the Garmin International offices across the street. So, if you are driving through Olathe on I-35 near the 151st Street exit and see a yellow push pin on your Garmin map, thatís what it is.

Also, if you ever wondered where all those street shown in the Garmin manuals are, the ones Iíve seen are in the same area near Garmin, around the Great Mall of the Great Plains, except for the one showing Kansas City International Airport.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world.
Those who understand binary and those who don't.

I have a buddy who has done some work for Garmin there in Olathe. He says they're a bunch on propeller heads who really know their stuff, but are still very friendly, personable and down to earth.

A couple of weeks ago we were in the Kaibab National Forest in northern Arizona and took the Jeep down some fire trails that were right there on the Garmin Nuvi! How in the world to they pack so much data into that little thing that they can put in two-tracks in national forests? Astonishing!
