Opinions of magazines needed

A buddy is thinking about marketing a part for pickup trucks and asked that I gather opinions on magazines. He'll advertise in a few, but can't afford to hit them all.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

I never pay attention to any ads. I figure if I want a friend, I'll get a dog... not buy a product.

I don't really look at off-road magazine...I tend to hit the forums...

Would it be possible to get in with Quadratec, Complete Off-road, or some other company that he could sell to? Ads a middle man I suppose but...

What kind of part is he selling? Or can't you say much as to not have someone steal the idea?

why yes, yes i am a moron

There's very little I can say about it at this point, except that it's to fix a problem with a pickup truck. I'm with you guys, though, on magazines. I used to subscribe to PV4 but gave it up about when the old guy quit writing articles for them. Can't remember his name any more, but he called his rusted out Waggoneer Waggin' Ears because of the way the fenders flapped in the wind.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.
