Re: Ford Spark Plug Wires are really long on 258I
I put an HEI ignition on my '89 258/4.2 and bought a set of Accell custom-fit wires. This means that you get 8 wires of the same length and you get to cut them and install the terminals. It would have been a very clean install but, well, I did a crappy job . I'm doing a TFI on a '74 232/3.8 and the '95 300 I-6 wires (some Double-Silicone wires from AutoZone) fit incredibly well. The '81 wires fit just as well until I realized the coil wire was different when using TFI and took the set back to exchange.
Just bought a DJ-5C! Sliding doors and right-hand drive are cool
