Bellhousing broken on lower clutch linkage bolt

Okay, now I'm mad. My clutch was due to be replaced soon, but the other day I had a bear of a time driving it cause it would act like the clutch was engaged even with the pedal to the floor. Today I looked under there to adjust the linkage and I noticed a piece of bellhousing broken off where the linkage attaches. So, is there another way to mount the linkage, or do I need a new bellhousing. If a new bellhousing is needed, are there other vehicles to check besides a CJ with t-5 and Dana 300?

Thanks for the help

Sean

hmmm that bell housing is EXPNSIVE!...try getting someone to weld it back together for you..a fab shop that does work for boatyards welds a lot of aluminum.. try them..

Re: Bellhousing broken on lower clutch linkage bolt

Actually, well, luckily, I found a used parts heaven not too far from my house. Called up, told him the engine and tranny and he said, how many you need? I said hopefully just one for a long time. I said how much, he said, how's 50 bucks. I told him I could almost kiss him, then I took that back just in case he might like it.

Guess luck was on my side.
