Today\'s Weather in Texas

Yet another rainy day in Texas.
It seems that some power from up above does not want me to get out much.
It kinda $ux because it will rain for a half am hour or so, and then it will just stop.
Of course when it stops I go outside to start working and the minute I begin I feel a rain drop hit the top of my head.
So, I go inside to sit out the next batch of rain.
Then it stops again, and I get ready to start working again.........

Well, you can see how this ends up.
It seems to be a vicous cycle that I can not get out of.

Of course, during the week when I am at work it is beautiful outside, but I do not get home until dark,
so work at home can not proceed until the weekends..............when it is raining.

I will stop complaining now so I can get to work while it is not raining.

Take care and happy JEEPIN'

Re: Today\'s Weather in Texas

I can relate! We are getting our fair share here in Ok. too.
I'm lucky, I can work on my jeep at our shop at work (did today too). Nice and cool when it rains anyway! One good thing about a jeep (when its running) is when the sun is out, you can take off the top and enjoy the sunshine. When it rains you can go do a little muddin'. Don't gripe to much, it will soon be gone and hotter than hell!

Re: Today\'s Weather in Texas

Hey dave, when are you going to let me look at that jeep? I hear it's something awesome to see. I got my axles done by fuzzy and they now sit upnder the truck. Need to do brake lines, shocks, transmission rebuild, torque converter, and drag link. Then I'll be plaguing the streets of Durant just like you. Thanks for hooking me up with Dale, he's an awesome guy to know and a great teacher. I was there through every day of the axle rebuild and learned a lot since he showed me all the little tricks. See you around.
