Ditto!

We had an amazing storm blow through here near St. Louis, but it did no significant damage. The sky got as black as night, it rained lions and mastiffs for a few minutes, blew a few branches off trees and left piles of sleet on the shoulders, but we were spared the worst of it.

How is everyone else?

I've got a piece of loose siding and a small piece blew off at the apex of the dormer. As hard as the wind was blowing, I was amazed that the wife found it. It should have been miles away. Now I've got to climb my old acrophobic butt up there.

Hey... I had 70mph winds two weeks ago; it blew off one section of gutter on the garage.

I'll fix it after the snow and ice goes away. Some days I hate living in Narnia.

Does that count!

Yeah Larry that counts.
Around here they are calling this the Winter without snow. We have been having more violent weather the last few years. The siding is back up. It took more time to get the super glue off my hands. Looks like I underestimated my damage. At least two 4x4 posts in my fence are broken, but at least they are on the ground level.

No snow here, either. At least not enough to count. We had two, but the biggest only left about an inch and a half, and they both were gone the next day. First year in thirty I haven't bothered to put the plow on the Jeep. And this time of year I wouldn't bother.

Kerry came over today, the guy that I go wheeling with a lot,
He was working over there by Marysville when it got hit.
The only structure standing is the town water tower, EVERYTHING else in town is gone.
Heneryville isn't much better...

He said they came out of the plant, and it was just stopping the rain, the sun was out, and even after the rain stopped, crap rained down for 10 minutes,
Aluminum and stuff first, then stuff like towels, then pieces of paper and insulation for 10-15 minutes after the tornado went through...

Wonder how high the top of that storm was to suck thing up that high...
