ax15 or nv3550 ??????

I just bought a TJ 2000 and am trying to determine if it has an AX15 or a nv3550.

The services manual says its a 3550 but according to the maunal the trans oil fill plug should be on the right hand side.
The fill plug is on the driver side. Don't see any stickers at all.

The 2000 with a 6 cyl should have the NV3550.
