need generic part #\'s

DOes anyone know what the generic part#'s are for the rubber motor mnts that a/a puts in their chevy v8 motor mount kits.I dont know if its theirs specific or an application of sorts that I can get at the parts store.

Well, for those of you that want to know like I did,the universal motor mounts from advance adapters are not generic.They are special made and are going to cost me $67.00 bucks!!! AINT JEEPS SPECIAL!!!!!!So much for beer money.

Are you using A/A's mounts and need to replace the rubber? Or are you trying to make a set of mounts similar to theirs?

I made a copy of my dads mounts.Ive been using some rubber doughnuts, but they arent holding up.

I don't have any info on those donuts, but you can make a really stout engine mount (similar to MORE's Bombproof) using Chevy poly spring bushings, Schedule 80 water pipe and the factory mount. I've made a few of these and they work great. Plenty strong and the isolators are cheap and readily available.

I thought about that, but I dont feel like starting over.The rubbers are on the way now anyways.Thanks !!!
