Replacement Shackle for CJ7

Any recommendations on make/brand for front and rear shackles for a '81 CJ7?

I "think" they are stock. They measure 4 1/2 inches in height and the springs are 2 1/2 inches wide in the back and 2 inches in the front.

They look like the image attached.

Those are stock. I wouldn't bother buying them - they're too easy to make. They're just hot-rolled steel. They do need that little divot cut out of the sides, though. At least the forward side in front. I don't know off and about the rear side in back.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

A lot of people make shackles.....Confer, Warrior, etc. 4 Wheel Parts is a good place to start looking....

A little advice....

1. Avoid the temptation to go with lifted get 1" of lift, the shackle needs to be 2" longer than stock....and it starts to mess up the caster on the front....

2. And avoid the temptation to use Polly bushings....much denser and as a result transmits more vibration to the body...
