OT: The adds are screwy again.

Oh well, something finally got me to switch to Firefox from IE. But just in case I thought I would mention this. It appears as though the Wrangler MT/R add is screwing up how the pages load.

In IE I was unable to navigate at all... To the point that I had to start task manager and wait for an opportunity to close IE all together. Firefox will at least let me navigate, but the progress bar shows a problem with an add and the page shows each page as "loading" for quite some time.

Anyone else having issues?

Is this the only hammer you've got?

Booger sent an e-mail saying that he was having problems getting around, and that pages kept re-loading. He tried to read a PM but couldn't because of the re-loading. Everything is working OK for me so far.

Get the "NoScript" addon for Firefox. It prevents scrips from loading so you get faster page loads and no flashing adds. It is very easy to use and is great I wish I had gotten it along time ago.

I will start using Metric only when the duodecimal system is adopted!!

Do you have an address for that 'No Script' download?

Thanks for the heads-up; I'll also pass the word in to Dan to look at the ads that are causing the problem.

The ad has change and the problems seems to have gone away. It was a tire ad. It seemed to be looking for files it couldn’t find. Kept flashing something about waiting for forums.off-road.com ******************

I just kept hitting the stop button but if I forgot, it locked up IE and sometimes the whole computer.

It's been locking the 'puter up for the last few days anytime I tried to get on the site; I thought that only happened if you looked at the naked women! Dan
