CJ7 Fenders on a CJ5?

Will CJ7 fenders fit on my 75 CJ5. I am in need of a set of fenders and i was wondering if thy would fit. I know the inner part is different. But will they fit. I dont care what they look like. Just need something with less rust holes!

Well, since this is the 2nd time you've asked and nobody responded, I'll give you my 2 cents. I don't know if they are bolt up, and
I believe that model 5 has the earlier frame, but how handy are you with a saw, or even better yet a plasma cutter. My point is
most likely not a bolt on, but they will probably be similar enough to make them fit with a little work. If you have access to the 7
fenders, why not just hold them up to the 5 after removing a fender?

YES! 72 and newer CJ 5,6,7,8, are the same, 71 and prior are shorter
