Exclamation DOH! so much for having a jeep at the bash!! (anyone want to buy a jeep?)

I had the cylinder head magnafluxed at an engine shop and it showed up with some cracks.....

This jeep was just meant for me to tool around in until my CJ6 gets going....but its becoming more work than what i want to put in....

So no jeep for me at the bash....which means i may not make it out at all (unless someone has a seat I can ride in all of Friday?)

anyone want to buy a CJ2 in need of an engine. has a bunch of new(er) parts on it!

Bring the head to the Bash. There's a slim chance I can weld it. Nothing lost if I can't. Toby will probably have an open seat.

Jim, I appreciate the offer....I'll think about it...but i really dont think its all that worth it..... I just bough the 2a for me to tool around in while i built the 6...but the 2a is turning into its own project which i dont have the room, money, or time for......

I'm not going to lose any sleep if the 2a goes-bye bye

as for a seat ...are you both gonna be there both friday and Sat? or are you rolling in Saturday...Since i'm jeepless I may leave earlier on saturday so I can get to Rockford at a decent hour that night.

If i can get a seat for one or both days I'll provide the cigars and run the tow strap

Our plan is to get there by Thursday afternoon at the latest. I've been hopping like a frog on a skillet lately, so I wouldn't mind getting away earlier, like Wednesday night, to play Thursday if anyone else will be there. But I could get Shanghai'd and not get there until later too. Frank has someone who may or may not come along, but he's got a back seat.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

I might take that jeep off your hands. Is there a front bumper you can drill for a tow bar? (I have a tow bar and can give you the hole spacing)

i have it in the fore sale section....i'm asking $850 since there 300$ in newer tires and 200ish in a new carb & fuel pump plus seats and a roll bar (which isnt attached to the jeep at present)....also just bought 160$ in smaller misc parts which i'm inlcuding with it.

i'll be losing money based on what i've spent ...but i don't expect much otherwise when it comes to vehicles.

Seems reasonable except the title. Makes it tough in Indiana
