81 scrambler moved outside for pic

well i know it still runs. fired it up today and moved the jeep outside to do a little garage cleaning... what a mess i have made in there//// oh well that is what happens when you are doing a project..... took some shots outside so you can see better some of the things i have been working on all winter...still have a lot of loose ends to take care of but starting next weekend i will be on vac plan on getting it on the street for a little testing.. take a look... comments open to any feedback or questions... just keep in mind its a little different thanks

I know you took some jabs of the Mall Crawler variety, but the only thing I see that I would really reconsider is the exhaust placement. Maybe it isn't as bad as it would seem to be, but have you actually taken that for a trip down the road yet? I can't imagine it being anything short of painful.

Smile exhaust stacks

no really not bad at all it is the one thing that is the same before the complete rebuild i had the sbchevy motor and the stacks before.. only change this time on that was a much better pipes and muffler system.. it is not load at all... my wife complains a little about the exhaust smell but nomatter where the pipes come out when you have the top off and doors off sitting at a stop your going to get some exhaust .. they dont even get hot plenty of air to keep them cool and they are far enough by the time it gets that far exhaust has cooled some.... really nice sound....

I like the stacks! Very unique, it won't be mistaken for anyone elses, thats for sure...nice job!!!
