Smile winch brush guard allmost done

well i got busy and welded up the other side today and put a little paint on it to see how it was going to look. still have to finsih up some rough spots at the two bends but going to come out ok... found some texshure paint that covers up real good and should help to help cover up the imperfections ... take a look....

That looks great! You could always skim coat the joints with body filler and then smooth them. I've smoothed welds on street rod frames that way many times.

Yep. It looks great so far. Should do fine. I don't like using the fasirlead for a front bumper though. You should weld up some protection for it.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Every time I see that bumper and fairlead, I wonder how cable will feed into that from an angle pull...it looks like the fairlead is much, much wider than the winch.
