double optima batt for the scrambler project

well getting closer to getting the 24 volt winch working.. today built the batt tray to hold the two optima batt all i have to do now is all the wiring to be able to run the winch.. have some heavy duty knife switches to be able to cut in and out the extra batt wil post more pic as soon i as get into the wiring....

You'll have a tough time finding knife switches stout enough to do the job. There are battery-disconnect terminals available at Autozone and similar places. They go on the battery terminal and the cable hooks to them. There's a knob that makes the connection when tightened down. You might be able to utilize them some way.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Smile switches and parts for double batt winch

ok here are the pcs i have been putting together .... these should work for both keeping the two batt charged and connecting for 24 volts when needed also the additional fuse and relay box was picked up from a ford dealers left over parts from setting up state police cars... these were added to the cars to handle all the lights and radios ... so i plan on using it to wire in all my lights take a look... dont know if the switches will hold up untill i hook them up but they are all copper and seem to be heay duty
