Question CJ pitman arm and 1ton TRE?

I planned to put Chevy 1ton TREs on the CJ7 with the new front axle. I got to looking at the stock pitman arm. It does not look like it has enough meat to accept the 1ton TRE taper. Does anyone know of an alternate that would work? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
mike

Well, I know it has only been an hour since I posted...

I have kept researching. I think that I found an answer... The SJ (waggy) pitman arm. Based upon Foothill offroad, they are the same length as the CJ arm with a 1" drop.

Anyone have any experience with the Waggy pitman arm on the CJ?

I did have several but have given or sold them all.

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.
