Probably because the information was a STUDY, not factual.

And the military asked the reporters to not talk about it until it was official.
They said the STUDY would be released in 2 weeks.

One of the reporters stole the proposed map of the area and the title page.

It was all right there on Pirate. But we all know 90% of what's on Pirate is not true.

Now you can see on other sites how it's getting blown all out of proportion.

I live right down the street from the Hammers - a friend called me all upset - he asked if the military was going to buy my place!

dang rich.. right down the road.. thats some rough livin.. but dang good wheelin... i'm not a fan of intense heat..

no kidding.. was at jack last saturday.. and was really windy... wasnt bad in those valley's... but out on the lake bed.. good lord.. brought back memories i dont care to relive anytime soon...
