Let it snow!

Since yesterday morning we have gotten around 12 inches of snow. I have to say the only way this could get better is if we got another foot and I didn't have to go to work. Boss got us a room last night, He must be crazy no way am i getting stuck at work when I can go play in the snow!!

I got my grader blade welded up yeasterday under a tarp while it snowed like a bear. Went to work last night without a hitch took about 45min longer to get home than normal this morning. Woke up about 10am and started grading snow. Only reason I stopped it I have to get ready for work.

How much did everyone else get?

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

Not a flake near St. Louis. You've got all the luck!

Thank God... NOTHING! For the first time in 3 months this week I can finally see my grass...and that's the way I like it. I can hardly wait to get the plow mounted on the PowerWagon and let it earn it's keep.

It's hard to tell what we got with the drifting. I had to plan my route to get to the hog barns this morning. I could see gravel in some spots and others where it drifted I didn't dare try it in my pickup. I'd guess 6-8". Hogs are warm and all the feed augers were working so that was good. I just wish I would have got my block bracket yesterday(UPS) so I could go play in the snow with my jeep!! Instead I got the JD 8410 out and pushed a little snow.

It snowed all day yesterday, we got 14.5 inches! Driving my Jetta in the snow sucks, since I sold my Jeep, my snow priorities changed...now I just want it to all end so I can bring the motorcycle out. I went for a short ride 2 days ago (50 degrees, no snow left on the ground) today, I fired the snowblower out. Grrrrrrrr!

I went skiing Saturday afternoon. Drove up on dry roads and had beautiful blue sky & sun. About halfway down the canyon going home clouds rolled in and the snow started. It was one of those odd plains storms that didn't get but halfway up the mountains. Yah, let it snow!

A few flakes fell here in Ft Leonard Wood, MO...Nothing stuck and only lasted about 10 minutes...Definately not enough to flood...again.
