86 GMC 3/4 ton wheel help.

Im doing a dual post here. Sometimes it takes a week or more to get a reply from the GM forums.

Im trying to find out if a 15" rim will fit on my 86 3/4 ton GMC 4x4. It has a 16" on there now. I looks like it will but you never know till you put one on there.

Note: Its 8 Lug.

Thanks.

Why is it that after you get stuck everyone helps you out then tries to make it though the same spot???

A 15" rim for the 3/4 ton axles and a 16" rim for the 3/4 ton axles are the same bolt patterns!!!

The only trouble we have ever run into is the clearance for the rotors with the 15" wheels!!!!

I Might be miss understanding you question!!!!! sometimes i need a brick to the head!!!!!

I think you'll find a clearance problem with the caliper.
