Talking Good Haul today!!! lots of stuff (pics!)

OK.....

finally got the newest jeep home...the one i bought from Knifeboy-Nick...it'd been sitting up north of me for 3 months, finally had time to go get it.

I hit up the JC Whitney store......got these seats on clearance.. bought 2 of them. brand new, very nice. not sure if i'll end up putting them in my 6 or not, maybe i'll ebay them or something....I've got lots of time to decide

and i got some wheel dollies to help manage jeep work in my now-very-crowded garage. they came with a free scissor jack! woohoo!

and this bad boy. A very large and heavy Craftsman Lathe. i have the gear cover for it, but its not in the pics. its in pretty good shape....but its dirty so it doesnt show. Sadly i will be selling it, cuz i need the $$$ for the jeeps (i've been jeepless for too long). sucks cuz i doubt i'll find an other deal like this for a long long time.....tough choices!

also got a spare D20
a set of spare D30 shafts
a set of spare AMC 20 shafts.
a t-176 bell housing (for ford t-18)

so, all in all it was a fantastic day for getting stuff!

Nice haul! Don't feel too bad about the lathe. It's a square-way Atlas without the quick-change feed box. And rusted up like that it's no great loss. Hope you didn't pay much for it. Did you get the feed-change gears with it?

Nick's Jeep is a good starting point. Get the wiring fixed up and it'll be a good, reliable ride, I think. You might be well off to get a Painless harness and start from scratch, IIRC.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Nicks jeep is becoming an organ donor for my CJ6.....going to pull the engine and transmission and t-case, the winch, jacobs ignition, and the wheels/tires.....and a few other miscellaneous items

I have some other wheels that can go back on it to keep it rolling....the body/chassis/title will get then get sold to recoup some of my expense.

Greg,

What kind of deal did you get on the seats? I may be in the market in the near future.

Brad

2001 TJ Built, Wrecked, then Built Bigger, then rolled and fixed again, now rolled again. Do you see a pattern!!
