Haspin 10-27 or 28?

I need to get out and wheel. I usually take a fall wheeling trip somewhere, but new job and little vacation have me a bit strapped on time. So I was thinking a trip to haspin is in order. I am flexable as to the day. I want to strap the kid seats in the jeep and take the younguns and wife so I won't be doing anything crazy but I would like to get out and play!!

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

I would love to Jeff but I will be in out the state at a wedding that weekend. I was however thinking the same thing, I need to go wheeling!!!

Would love to get out sometime before it gets too cold.

2001 TJ Built, Wrecked, then Built Bigger, then rolled and fixed again, now rolled again. Do you see a pattern!!

If it rains the rest of the week we won't go. I enjoy wheeling but have no desire to slide around it the haspin mud.

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

Having just looked at the Haspin Acres web page, I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of what it would be like for a stock Jeep with the 30 inch wheels. Since this is my daily driver, I do not need to roll it over like some of the pictures of 4x4ing. I have been down to Rockport Off Road Park with 2 friends with 32" wheels and my towstrap is the only one that needed to be used that weekend.

Since Google Maps puts Haspin 5 hours from Chicago, some early advice is appreciated.

If all timing works out, the November 3 Toys for Tots weekend is better for me. With Soccer playoffs this weekend and Boy Scout camping the weekend of Nov 10, the weekend of the 3rd is a slim chance for us.

Thanks

Come on down.... Long as it hasn't rained for a couple of days you will have fun. If you want pictures to talk you out of it... I've got them.

Yup. Al little rain there sux. Rain the previous week results in "little" mud puddles that you go to drive through and the next thing you know theres mud in your jeep up to your NECK.

BUY MY CUSTOM STICKERS!!!!!!

((good women are REALLY hard to find! She buys me Jeep parts, never complains when I buy guns, Jeep parts,
And she makes GREAT sausage gravy!)TR
