OT Quick help needed!

Im on a busness trip to Maryland, and contacted a local jeep club via a message board, about a trail ride. One of the members offered to let me ride with them. All sounds good. But the reality is I dont know the guy, the jeep or the area. ALOT can go wrong! Should I safely bow out or live on the edge and go jeeping?

I wouldn't even give it a second thought - I don't think loons are allowed to have Jeeps. But now that you've brought it up, read all of his messages you can find on the board. That should give you a pretty good idea about him.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Issue resovled Called him and though he sounded ok, the trip was reduced to 2 jeeps and me. He thought I had a jeep to drive up with. Turns out I am 2.5 hrs out of his way. So I backed out. Thanks for the support though.
Sorry to waste the space on the board.

Waste? No waste. It was a great question I wouldn't have even thought to ask. I'd be laying dead somewhere behind a stump for 15 years before some noitced I was missing...
