Update on the pig...

Here it sits as of now, got the winch mounted and the grille mounted. The grille is now welded to the hood and the winch is sunk down between the frame rails. You can also see I have sloped the cowl so the grille is lower, by about 6 inches. It's coming along!

Here is the grille, it's crooked since it is just resting there. I do not have it supported yet, that will be next weekend.

whats left.. a lot of the little things.. i have to finish mounting the grille to the hood then mount the radiator and tube work around it.. after that.. the brakes.. mount the tranny.. driveshafts.. floor boards.. run fuel lines.. install front shocks.. that covers the major things.. lol... i will be taking leave in a week or two to finish it up.. shooting on having it running by the Marine Corps birthday..

At first glance it looks like the front is sunk down....but then you see that the frame is level (more or less by Marine standards)....I can see where that slope will help visibility on approach...

Very nice....am I correct is noticing that that new engine or yours is already stabbed?

Uh, what happened to the mother of all 401's? Sold to pave the way for finishing the rest? Smart move IMHO... not that it'll see trail until you come back east or anything!
