First 4x4 trip with the new engine

First I want to say thanks to those on this board who have helped me get my Jeep up and running after a complete engine rebuild. I had asked some friends of mine to find a spot to take the Jeep out that won't be to hard for it's first 4x4 run in two years. So on Saturday morning we meet at my friends house and they had a trip planed to Anza-Borrego Desert. We meet at 7am and with no top or doors is was a cold morning drive. Anza-Borrego is about 60 miles from North County San Diego and it offers some easy to hard trails. I had asked to do some light trails and so we took Coyote Canyon. We ended up doing some moderate rock climbs and the guys where surprised to see a stock CJ do so well. Pictures to follow,

Carnell

There where a ton of springs and palm trees. Wish I would have taken pictures of that.

Cool! Any problems?

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

The only issue I had was I lost the silver ring around my head light. It's going to take some time to find a replacement. All in all I'm very happy!!!!
