Fuel Cell Set-up
I have pulled together all of my parts for my fuel cell install. I decided to go with the following.
10 gallon JAZ cell with 3 (-8AN male)bulk head fittings
3 - JIC 8 female to 3/8" NPT male elbow fitting
3 - 3/8" NPT female 5/16" hose barbs
5/16" inline fuel filter
E2000 fuel pump
inline fuel regulator 0-80 psi
Fuel line and fittings
I'll post some pics when I get it all together.
Well, my regulator came in yesterday for my set-up so I took a piece of 2.5" flat stock and mounted my filter, pump, and regulator to it then bolted the flat stock to the Jeep body right above the rear frame crossmember.
It should be well protected there, but I will install a flat skid at the frame for extra security.
I wired the pump up to my factory harness and ran all my tubing. I need one more fuel line hose clamp to tie into my factory fuel line, but I had the wife turn the jeep over to check flow and it looked good.
Hope to have the fuel cell secured to the tub tommorrow, clean-up all my wiring and tubing then get the Jeep moving again!!!
Fuel Cell PICTURES
Here are some pictures of my fuel cell set-up installed it the TJ. I still have to clean up the wiring and secure the tubing out of the way, but the TJ is running aagin.
More great work, Brad.
Looks good Brad!!!
