Anyone have carfax? OT

I'm looking for a new (used) car since the T-bird is showing her age. I've been looking at Ford Escapes. Any input would be appreciated. I found one online in Buford, GA, but before I even think of checking it out, I'd like to check the carfax report on it.

VIN- 1FMYU03103KD99105

As always, thanks guys

Hey there Sean.

Not sure if you are still looking at the Ford Escape.

I ran a Carfax on the VIN. It is a Florida vehicle, purchased in 2003... one owner. "Guaranteed No Problem" with Salvage / Junk / Rebuilt. Along with Fire / Flood, Hail, Lemon. The mileage is valid.

No issues reported with accidents, air bag deployment, etc.

The Engine was serviced around 5,470 miles.

It was registered as a commercial vehicle on 3/22/2004. Again registered as a commercial vehicle around 11,290 miles. Finally it was sold at an auto auction with 48,639 miles on 06/28/07.

Looks good to go!

Sure...

1994 Ford Aerostar 3.0L V6 Rear Wheel Drive.

It is a Michigan vehicle with 3 owners.

"Guaranteed No Problem" with Salvage / Junk / Rebuilt. Along with Fire / Flood, Hail, Lemon. The mileage is valid.

It is showing an Accident Indicator... I will get to that in a bit. No issues with airbag deployment (probably doesn't have one)...

On 1/15/94 it was registered as a corporate fleet vehicle, then sold, and retitled in North Carolina. On 2/18/2000 an accident was reported - New Hanover County, involving a left rear impact with another motor vehicle - "Very minor damage".

On 4/8/04 it was brought to Kentucky... 6/26/06 Vehicle color was noted as Gold (not original color).

:)

I'm seriously looking at buying this truck, noticed that you have a carfax account and was wondering if you could run it for me? I'm suspicious because the advertised price is way below blue book. The VIn is

Thanks in advance!

hahaha......HybridJeep/Mike is going to be the most popular guy on here as long as he has the carfax account.

Just a word of caution here, about CarFax ...They only report what is reported to them..So if it is an older vehicle and someone did body work or swapped in an engine and didn't report it, or didn't go through insurance. well you get the idea. In other words do your own inspection!
I am sure Car Fax has batteries of Lawyers to get out of any guarentee they offer,And even if you sue them and happen , by chance to win : the best you will likley get is value of the vehicle... the legal costs will likley prohibit you from even going into it.
I know from experiance after buying my Toyota with the swapped engine Carfax had no record of... Just a thought !
