Haspin Carnage

Well Devils Backbone did me in on Saturday. Busted the ears off my rear slip yoke on my CV shaft on a full throttle assault.

Aaron,

BTW that slip yoke I had at the house would have kept me wheeling the rest of the day. It is the same diameter, length and spline count. Like I said it was 1330 but I did have a 1330 Dana 44 yoke with me in my parts box that day. Guess that will teach em to leave parts at home!!!

Next time I will have spare front and rear drive shafts!!! I'm not going all the way to Kentucky without a few spares.

Brad

2001 TJ Built, Wrecked, then Built Bigger, then rolled and fixed again, now rolled again. Do you see a pattern!!

That was a pretty good show you put on Brad!! There's nothing like a full throttle assault on the Backbone...followed by a POP!! and loss of the rear digs!!! Great landing though. What are you planning on doing for spare driveshafts? If you're going to Wabash for spares I'd like to tag along, maybe find a front D/S, also need a steering box stat!!

I've seen it much uglier. My buddy did the same thing, wheel hopped it past 3/4 up, spit the driveshaft and it took out the brakeline when it let go. It got real ugly after that at 30mph+ backwards with no brakes. It's just a good thing he builds good cages!

BUY MY CUSTOM STICKERS!!!!!!

((good women are REALLY hard to find! She buys me Jeep parts, never complains when I buy guns, Jeep parts,
And she makes GREAT sausage gravy!)TR
