OT Baddest Toy of the Month (Year?)

Click the link below to view a clip of a racing go cart chassis with a 1000cc motor attached. I've got a chassis but am missing the powerplant. This thing is simply scary fast!!! Not dial up friendly. Keep watching, about 4:20 into it, one guy really cuts loose!!

Is this the only hammer you've got?

Thats cool. AWESOME POWER. I had a really good vid of a cart with a gixxer engine on it. Let just say the guys on it had bigger kuhunna's. They were boiling the tires at 120...........just insane. Still, thanks........what a neat toy.

We built a cart in AG class out of a 750 suzuki. I got to take it for a lap around the field. Got back and let the guy who supplied the engine. He didn't have the sense I had and we hadn't hooked up the brakes. Last time I saw it it was in pieces set out for the scrap truck and the guy took 3 days to get out of the hospital... I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT A MODERN 1000 could do.

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

I'm still real tempted to stuff that spare 1324cc Sami engine in an old Wheel Horse I have . It's only about 53hp but should be pretty fun to mow with ...
That go-kart is sick, we built one years ago with a 250 Suzuki , it was bad enough and very light .

Go to carterbro.com they build some awesome carts, and they manufacture their own engines to go with them. They just came out with a new model this year w/a 250CC engine I would like to have but I have my sights on a different toy spec'd by and manufactured for the gov and I just gotta have me one of these first. From what I understand carter brothers have been making these type of carts for a very long time. They call them dune buggies but in my book they ain't nothin but a fast go cart. We built one when I was a kid and used a 305CC honda cycle engine, I wouldn't drive it cause the front wheels would drift off the ground at high speed, never drove it on dirt, used to take it to the drags and put on shows for the spectaters, belonged to a friend of mine but I helped put it together.
