That sucks Jim. I hated to see you break after such a long drive. Time to build it bigger, badder and stronger I guess. Hope things are going well at home.

What Aaron said!

You did a fine job, there! But you were supposed to wait until Saturday afternoon.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Looks like it was a good thing that I didn't find you an axle on the way in. Would have been a mess. Good luck.

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

Now you're going to have to go find someone who know's how to build a rearend.

(& you know that would have never happened with your old 20 with the 2 pc axles )

Thats the plan for the winter. Right now i just want it driving again. So it will be a open carrier for the rest of the summer.

At least i got it done and over with early.

It looks like the internals of the detroit, may be ok. But the one side of the carrier is scrap.

That was the first thing i thought of. That poor old 20 is still living under a CJ5 that gets beat on so bad.

So as for a new rear. Im staying with a 9in. I hope to sell what i have disc to disc. Use a late heavy housing 9in, probably 33 spline axles, maybe even full floating if it is possable with the 33 splines. But right now i dont have the time to think about it. I have 9 weeks to build the babys bedroom.

What????
