Where's Spook?

Here's a few shots of my current location. If you can guess specifically, and not just name the country, then you win....NOTHING. But it might be fun. There's a couple of shots of what passes as 4 wheelers over here, one shot of my mother and I, and a shot of Baby's First Day at the Beach. I know I'm biased but I don't think they get much cuter than she is.

All the clues you need are there, but feel free to ask questions, especially about the rigs.

Asia? Doggone Leve, with your very first post you've managed to narrow it down to only about half the land mass on the planet. Asia contains a fair chunk of what used to be the soviet union, a good chunk of what comprises the middle east, plus china, taiwan, japan, and just about any place where folks look "asian", etc.

BUT! On the plus side, you can rule out old british colony.

Port of Kobe looks right to me

Well done:

Kobe Port Tower , a hyperboloid structure, is a 108 metre high lattice tower in Kobe, Japan. Kobe Port Tower has an observation deck at a height of 90.28 metres.

Would Pic number 1 be at the Hanshin Motomachi station?

The way I figured out Kobe Japan was a search of the area code from the Phone number on the billboard in the first picture. then followed up with a search for Skyscrapers of Kobe

I tried the phone number too.. but got nowhere. Hats off to you!

As for the Dead Sea Photos... it could be two different locations,
  • the first being half way around the world at The Great Salt Lake, and
  • the 2nd could be the Dome of the Rock....
