Notice how they picked obstacles that took advantage of the H2's ground clearance...and made sure all the other vehicles had 'stock' tires at full pressure....

I can stop the H2 in 1 foot...find two trees that are 6" wider than the width of the GC....

It's a lot like #'s....anyone can create a problem that fits their solution...

as for stock tires, I'll give that to hummer, it comes with that from those from the factory, which is better than the others.

BUT!

I call BS on this... makes me doubt the rest. The water is up to the center of the wheel on the hummer, but damn nearto top of headlights on the rest.....

It doesn't matter,
H2 is a Tahoe with stupid sheet metal.
Our AirRide Tahoe kit bolts directly on, no modifications nessary.
So what ever you can do in a Tahoe (a decent looking vehicle) you can do in a H2.

Notice the H2 had lockers? (which you can't get from the factory)
Notice the H2 was aired down, and the rest were pretty well full pressure?
Water fording isn't a test I'd make a show of anyway...
Notice how the H2 driver was allowed momentum and to 'Cherry Pick' lines while the rest were slow, and right up the middle?

And I can tell you from personal experence, the Mercades the german military uses is one tough, capable and reliable unit that can drive circles around an H2, so I don't believe this so called 'Test' at all.

I'm gonna have to throw the BS flag on this one too. Notice how all the other vehicles stopped at the worst possible spot and then made sure to dig trenches with the tires. I've pulled out more H2s than any other vehicle when I'm on the trail. That's why my buddy had to buy me a windsheild sticker that says H2 RECOVERY VEHICLE, He bet me that his "bad ass" hummer could follow me anywhere. He lasted five minutes into the trail head where he promptly got high centered on a tiny little burm. H2 and H3 are not hummers they are tahoes and colorados with different sheet metal. By the way the aforementioned buddy traded the H2 in on a 4 door JK last week.

Test? Far from it. It's just a product of the marketing pukes who make a living pulling the wool over the sheeps eyes. I do agree, if I have to run the AMG Test route.. drive a H2. If I have to drive the Jeep test route, drive a Jeep. If I have to drive all of 'em .... I'd drive a used 404 UniMog!
