8.8 full spool for C-clips

Do they make a full spool for the ford 8.8 that keeps the c-clips?

Don't worry about the C-clips, the disc brakes will keep the shafts in place.

A bad weekend of wheelin', is still a good weekend.

Given how full spools are shaped I think it is unlikely that any could be made to use C clips. but I have been wrong before

Wilhelm

I will start using Metric only when the duodecimal system is adopted!!

What kind of diff do you have it in now? Do you have the full open diff, or the LS? I would think that if you have the full open diff you might consider welding it up. If you have the LS, it probably wouldn't be too hard to find a 8.8 open diff. swap it in and weld it. 8.8's seem to be pretty easy to come across, so if you welded it and didn't like it, you probably wouldn't be out too much $ to just get another one.
I don't think I have ever seen a spool for a C-clip. I will follow this post for sure, now that I think about I am interested to see if they are out there.

The diff is welded now but i know that the diffs can pop even when there open so i wanted to get the thing out of there. Not long ago i did see a Spool for an axle that had C-clips but i forget where and for what axle.
I have looked all over and i cant find any spool that will work with C-clips now. So maybe they did not work very well.. Oh well. Thanks for the help..

Maybe see if you can't poke around in some places that deal with Mustangs. I think that they run 8.8's and there are a lot of race applications for Stangs. Come to think of it, Summit racing may be a good resource.
