Ideas for mounting off road flag to 2007 Sahara?

I need to figure out how to mount a dunes flag to my 2007 Sahara. I can't find anywhere on the front bumper to mount it, because it is all plastic. I can't drill through it anywhere, because it is a lease. I was thinking some kind of bracket that could screw to the license plate holes on the front? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Duct tape. Lots of duct tape.

Quack quack.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

We used to sell magnetic base flags at the quad shop, or you could go with a mag mount CB antenna and put a flag on it.
Probably the only place is on the hood though

How did I get sand THERE!

Will the top be off? If so, then
  • two hose clamps,
  • one roll bar,
  • a little tape to keep the paint from being marred...
and clamp it to the roll bar.

I believe Mopar makes a mounting bracket that allows you to bolt a license plate to your front bumper. If you got that, you could probably drill into that bracket to attach the flag. If that doesn't work, do what my Dad said about my Ram, which was "When all options for repair have failed, sit back, take a deep breath, and keep pullin' the trigger 'til it's dead." (That quote is the reason I have my TJ now and am getting rid of the Ram.)

take a piece of flat stock drill two holes in it. One hole for the flag post to screw into. The second hole would be the same size as the bolt for the fton tow hook. Then bolt it to the top of the tow hook (kinda like a washer)

Another thought is to use the 2" recever in the back and fab up a recever that has a location for the flag post.

I would think that since he's a SOXFAN and lives in Chicago, he's going up to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. At the Dunes, you have to have the flag somewhere off the front bumper. I just got my 07 JK and I'll have to look around the bumper for some holes. Thanks for reminding me! Have fun at the Dunes!!!
