Tops?

Besides BestTop, who else makes a soft top and half-door windows (either in black or tan, black preferred) for a 1997 TJ? I have looked at the BestTops, but they are too expensive for my budget.

We think alike...I was just going to do a similar post.
Ive seen some "OutLand" sailcloth tops for the 03-06 TJ for about $300 buy it now. I beleve that they would fit. But I am not sure on the quality. Any one out there have good luck with the ebay tops for quality and fit? Also am I correct that a 03-06 top will fit an 97-up tj...I know that in 03 sailcloth became factory.
Good Luck

I don't think they will fit, I believe that they were changed in 2003 to comply with new Federal/NHTSA crash test regulations.

John,

You really should buy your wife a top, yea you live in SoCal, but is not the French Riviera!

Haha, I'm in North Carolina, and I'm still in high skool. Singleness has the best sex life, well, at least for me.

JeepDawg needs to claim responsibility for that "topless" comment, he logged in from my computer...

However, I don't discredit the "Who needs a top" when we do drive without for most of the year... Bikini tops are optional on hot days...
and yes, we are still talking about the jeeps...

See you boys and girls in a few weeks at the bash!!!

Bikini tops and the half-door windows come in handy a lot when the top will not go up on a 30-degree morning and you have a 15-minute highway commute to school at 0630.
