Wiring woes
 
Off of my Solenoid on my 87 YJ there is a bundle of heavy gauge wire with big black insulators on the wires, what is this for? And what are the three wires plugging into the heater area under the dash on the passengers side for? (probably heater but I wanna be sure)

Mine is an '80 CJ, but i'm sure the wires to the heater duct are the same. There is a pair of resistors in
there for the low and medium blower speed. If you want to be sure, unplug it and you should only have
high blower speed.

I believe the big black insulators on the wires are the fuse links and these should be the main positive
elecrical feed and the return from the alternator. I can't be sure, I don't have schematics for that late a
model.
