Speedometer hookup solved

A few days ago I was looking for a 2/1 splitter for the transmission speedometer drive output so that I could run a cable to a Halda dual odometer. You guys found several possible solutions - Thanks everyone! - but the cheapest was $40 and the best was almost a hundred.

So instead, I made this little adapter. The splitter came with the Halda, but it goes on the speedometer end of the cable. The adapter will connect the encoder, so the whole works will be safe and dry inside the cab, driven by the stock cable. The cable attaches at the left, the cable to the Halda attaches at the top, and the encoder will be on the right.
