Speed\'O Cable Hole for Jim

About 6.5" down from the top of the lip on the tub that interlocks with the hood, offset from center of the tub by around 2.5" to the drivers side.

Thanks, Dale. My feeble memory said that it was a good deal lower than that, so I would have screwed it up.

Re: Speed\'O Cable Hole for Jim

Other than keeping a stock location for some sentimental reason... it really shouldn't matter where you put the hole. And since your speedometer is not in the stock location maybe it's better to simply pick the most comfortable route.

Whatever and where ever the hole ends up, you are most welcome. No real effort on my part.

True, but . . .

Long ago I developed a philosophy about changing things - Don't, unless there's a good reason. When the factory has something figured out already, I like to stay as close to it as possible. It sometimes prevents a lot of trouble. In this specific case, maybe not. Then again, the stock location is sure to work.

Thanks again.
