I must be the worst mechanic ever, there is now way I could get an engine together in 4 minutes 51 seconds.

Something like this?

Or how about a motorcycle or rotary engine?

that exact animation was floating around Cat a lil over a year ago as a screen saver.....i think i uploaded it to one of Dale's servers a while back to....think i have a copy on my local drive as well if anyone wants it....

Cat now does "virtual builds" on their engines before they hit production so they are sure everything will fit and install w/o interfering......looks the same essentially

i think its pretty darn cool how everything has gone to 3D....really saves the labor time of doing it by hand...and keeps me employed hooray for paychecks!

Who else remembers when this engine was electrically powered and had a working distributor and you can get a "Visable Chassis" with working brakes and a tranny the shifted.
