Anyone here from the Atlanta area?

I wanted to know if this vehicle still had the engine in it and is it a 455...

The engine size on these is cast on the bottom driver side of the block. Real easy to see.
I threw a rod in mine and need another block, they are hard to find.

No, the pull-a-parts wont tell you. It's just part of their deal. They don't keep track of inventory of each car on the lot.

It's 1st come 1st serve. And ANY V-8 engine is $129.00 These 455's don't last long and I need one bad. The soonest I can get up there is Sunday. It's 4 hours and I don't want to go on a wild goose chase.....

Tell them you'll give them $150 for it if it is a 454, just for doing nothing more than getting off their lazy butts and checking for you.

455

There are usually guys in the lot that will pull crap for a fee. You know, guys hanging around looking for side work. I would pay someone to pull the thing if I knew someone in the area....

HINT...HINT...

Re: Anyone here from the Atlanta area?

I need to go, but don't know if I'll have time to get there this weekend.

I'll put out the word to check on it if I hear of any buddies going.

The engines themselves don't seem to go too quick there, but they get robbed of other parts somewhat quick.
