OT what different to build?

I'm not so sure on building a new buggy, i'd like to build something differet, something Andy style. I thought I had a line on a couple willys pickup but they fell through. I'm looking for just a body, not a full size, not a car otherwise it should be rather cheap and plentyful. Good chance what ever I buy it will be a home made frame and chevy motor/trans/t-case, my axles and 36's. Give me some ideas about what to backyard shop for.

go old and classic

find any old 1920-1940's truck and go from there...they're all cool looking.

Something different, but cheap and plentiful?

Different but plentiful?

ummm.... I don't think I can answer that.

Are you just looking for a cool body to put on a frame? Isn't the lack of a body the whole purpose of a buggy? Or are you looking to build a real, practical, trail rig this time?

How about a postal Jeep? Those are cool.

???

Re: OT what different to build?

Andy I've given this some serious thought. I envision you in an AMC Eagle wagon with a Andygeneered 4 link or at least a springover and an exoskeleton roll cage. It's plentyfull enough to be cheap but quirky enough to scream ANDY...
