Any Dixie Run pics or tales?

Did anyone go to Tellico for the Dixie Run? How about some pics. I'm headed to the Jeep Jamboree the weekend of the 15th and would love to see what the trails are looking like this year. I read on the Pirate board that the actual guardrail on Guardrail has a nice metal point ready to eat some sidewalls.

Anyone else going to the Jamboree?

Re: Any Dixie Run pics or tales?

www.sfwda.org

they have a link and a bunch o pages on just the dixie run.

if you've never been to one, go. you'll have the most awesome time there.

i havent been to tellico in almost 9 years, but take the trail ratings as gospel. also, dont think you're slicker than the rangers and not pay your admission fee. you may get away with it once, but sooner or later they'll get ya.

one of the cool things about joining a club from the sfwda is they do work weekends and get to ride for free. clean trash from the trails, fix some abuttments and do some ghost trail closings and still get to play.

the southern clubs got their acts together as compared to some of the northern clubs.

hope you enjoy tellico as much as i have.....its something i miss about the south.....as well as sweet tea, real pit bbq's and the hospitality.

Went. Wheeled. Dented my junk. Broke an axle shaft. Drank way more than I should have. Went places I didn't think my junk would...

Re: Any Dixie Run pics or tales?

Nice Pics! It's been several years since I've wheeled at Tellico and my Jeep is far more equipped now then it was way back when. So, Schoolbus is what everyone is talking about right now. Sounds like it was more difficult than lower 2...

Any other tips on what the trails are looking like right now?
